Anderson, SC - February 2022 - Anderson, South Carolina is home to The Sweetery, a premiere bakery in the southeast, and they are proud to return to the SFA Winter Food Show with their homemade Wine Sticks. Despite their name, Wine Sticks do not only appeal to those ages twenty-one and above. Wine Sticks can be enjoyed by everyone in the family! The perfect combination of fresh, natural ingredients and spices make these tasty snacks a great pair to a plethora of favorite foods, and of course, favorite wines as well!
Wine Sticks are essentially biscotti for wine. When dipped in wine, they bring out the flavor of both the wine and the Wine Sticks. Made in small batches, these Wine Sticks come in a 3 ounce box or a 2-pack for the perfect snack. They can be taken on-the-go in lunch boxes and picnic baskets. Though they are made with wine, the alcohol is cooked out, leaving only the delicious flavor behind. This way the whole family can enjoy them!
The Sweetery began with just three flavors: Apple, Chocolate, and Cinnamon Espresso. Today, they have expanded to add Lemon and Carolina Spice, but they’re not done yet, more flavors are coming soon!
