Woman Owned Business–Mama Kicks

Mama Kicks, a certified woman owned business, will be back at the Fancy Food Show next week in San Francisco, CA.

Founder, Adina Dahlin, started Mama Kicks because of her love for travel and experiencing cuisines from around the world. She’d often collect recipes, then go home to recreate the experience. Realizing that there are many others who enjoy quality healthy foods with all natural and authentic ingredients, she started Mama Kicks to bring those global flavors to others who may not always have time to source exotic ingredients or make the sauces from scratch but still want to experience amazing flavors and add culinary diversity to their kitchen. Mama Kicks is a WBENC-certified woman-owned business, and we're on a mission to give back by donating a percentage of profits to help women entrepreneurs achieve independence and equality in business.

As cravings for deeper global regional flavors grow, the SFA forecasts more attention on South Asia, Latin America, and especially Africa, with consumers eager to understand the differences between the continent’s diverse regions and to identify with other cultures.

These Standout flavors tempt the taste buds and beckon new tasters to step out of their comfort zone and into something new.

Meat and root vegetables are staple items around the world. What’s deliciously different are the exotic spices and sauces used to complement them. Mama Kicks brings the authentic flavors of distant lands to your kitchen with our unique line of sauces and marinades. From the Caribbean to the Congo, Mama Kicks collects the very best recipes of each region and hands them down to you. There are currently three different sauces on the market today : Jerk Marinade–this non-GMO vegan marinade has a Jamaican spice blend with heat from Scotch Bonnet peppers; Berbere Sauce–is a non-GMO vegan and gluten free sauce made with traditional Ethiopian spices that provide warmth and sweetness in a tomato base; and Chimichurri Sauce–non-GMO, vegan and gluten free Argentinian inspired sauce has bright herbs combined with tangy vinegar & spices.

New this year, Mama Kicks has moved into their own kitchen production facility keeping a pulse on what’s important as these recipes come to life for the consumer. Maintaining a balance of both locally sourced and responsibly sourced exotic ingredients  spices to keep these wonderful flavors drawing you back in for more. Their do-good philosophy continues to grow and make an impact with woman around the world. Every woman should have a voice and pass down their recipes, traditions and skills to support and love the life they live. Mama Kick’s it making it happen.

Mama Kicks can be found in The Fresh Market in the Eastern half of the U.S. and many Midwest retail locations including Lunds & Byerly’s, Hy-Vee, food co-ops and other specialty retailers. They are also sold online at www.mamakicks.com
