Cult Favorite Ice Creamery Returns to 2020 Winter Fancy Foods Show with Plant-Based Innovation
OG Ice Creamery Embraces the Non-Dairy Movement with Two New Vegan Flavors

San Francisco, CA (January 7, 2020) – Humphry Slocombe, San Francisco’s unconventional and beloved ice cream purveyor, will unveil two new, vegan flavors and exciting plans for the year ahead.

Celebrating 11 years of crafting next-level culinary-driven ice cream flavors, and known for using bold and daring ingredients such as salty prosciutto, candy cap mushrooms, and foie gras in its ice cream, the brand is embracing plant-based creativity to add to its lineup of ultra-premium ice creams. While Humphry Slocombe collaborated on limited-time vegan flavors in the past, this venture marks its commitment to fully accommodating customer preferences and dietary restraints, and the store is promising to offer at least two vegan options in their dipping cases year-round.

Located at Booth 5586, the ice creamery will offer samples of its new flavors. The ice creams dreamt up by the same minds behind classic favorites like Secret Breakfast and Peanut Butter Curry – are Toasted Sesame Butter & Chocolate Chip – sesame butter ice cream with a custom coconut base, accented with toasted sesame seeds and dark chocolate chips for the perfect satisfying crunch, and Coconut & Salty Caramel – a smooth and creamy coconut vegan ice cream base ribboned with gooey, rich salty caramel with a touch of soy sauce.

With more and more consumers ditching dairy for plant-based alternative options, Humphry Slocombe has accepted the challenge to bring its unique take on non-dairy ice cream with a high quality yet playful dessert that is inclusive for everyone, while also meeting their taste standards.

Founder Jake Godby will be on-site throughout the weekend, and Humphry Slocombe Collaborator and Top Chef favorite Melissa King will be on-site January 20. King is also set to compete on the upcoming Season 17 of Top Chef All Stars. Accredited journalists may request an interview by emailing stoobi@js2pr.com.
