CASABLANCA MARKET INTRODUCES A MEDITERANEAN FLAVOR FEST AND A NEW KIND OF SPICY FOR THE AMERICAN PALATE.

NEWARK, CA (January 11, 2019)—As part of the promotional launch for its new food line, Moroccan-style home décor and kitchenware retailer, Casablanca Market, (www.casablancamarket.com) proudly announces a return to the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco with the introduction of two exciting new products.

It’s no secret — Americans love spicy foods, whether it’s Buffalo hot wings, down home barbeque, or pepper-laced Texas chili. Over the years, American tastes have evolved to where heat-based flavors from around the globe are now among the hottest food trends (pun intended). It was a natural extension then from Casablanca Market’s core business of home products into the related world of food. “My other passion is food and cooking for my family, friends, and sometimes customers,” said Casablanca Market founder and CEO, Katia Essyad.

“So they encouraged me to make my own Moroccan Harissa recipe, which was inspired from my childhood memories of putting Harissa on a hot French baguette.” The result is a new flavor dimension for the American palate that simply makes food taste better.

And Casablanca Market Moroccan Harissa has a myriad of culinary uses for anyone who likes spicy food. “Our Harissa will add flavor to everything from, marinades and sauces, vegetables, pastas, sandwiches, eggs, meats, poultry, seafood, tagine dishes, and even pizza!” said Essyad.  “It’s truly the new spicy — an added delicious difference to virtually any dish.”

The other delicious new product is the aromatic, Casablanca Market Moroccan Preserved Lemons. Described as being sweet but zesty, they bring an added punch and an exotic flavor treat to a variety of dishes from salads to entrees, as well as to cocktails and bar drinks. One Amazon buyer proclaimed that they were a total game changer, and all for the better!  To preserve the authenticity and quality of the traditional flavors, sourcing and production are based in Morocco, where all Casablanca Market food products are made with no artificial ingredients, no preservatives, and no added sugar. They are non-GMO, vegan, gluten-free, and Kosher.

“We work with about 200 women in Morocco who make the products for us using our recipes,” said Essyad. “It’s part of our mission to support these superb artisans — and we’re proud and excited to present these new condiments to a discerning public, who know and appreciate an honest product that tastes fabulous.”

Both products have received rave reviews from Amazon buyers, and will be featured at the Casablanca Market booth, #5124, at the 2019 Winter Fancy Food Show in the North Hall at Moscone Center, San Francisco, on January 21-23. Katia promises even more wonderful food products on the way!
