SAN FRANCISCO (January 22-24, 2017) – KRAVE, a brand that has been revolutionizing the jerky category with its innovative range of meat snack products, will be previewing two new jerky flavors including Pink Peppercorn Beef and Honey Habanero Chicken at this year’s Winter Fancy Food Show, booth 1360. Attendees will have the opportunity to get a firsthand taste of the new flavors, which are expected to launch in Q2 of 2017, as well as grab a bite of the KRAVE Bar, KRAVE Stick (slated to launch next month) and KRAVE’s existing line of delicious jerky.
Known for elevating the meat snack category with culinary inspired jerky flavors and creating twists on the typical meat bars and sticks, KRAVE’s line of gourmet products continues to grow with the introduction of the new Pink Peppercorn Beef and Honey Habanero Chicken flavors. Subtle sweetness plays off the heat of real habaneros in Honey Habanero Chicken, and pink Himalayan salt and pink peppercorns balance the meatiness of Pink Peppercorn Beef in the two new flavors that are pleasing to the palate while still providing a snack that is a good source of protein. Even while the Sonoma-based brand continues to push the limits in regards to flavors that reflect its wine country roots, it remains steadfast in its commitment to keep its jerky all-natural – with no artificial ingredients, minimal processing and the use of high quality ingredients.
Accompanying these new jerky flavors at the KRAVE booth will be the brand’s first departure from its flagship line of jerky, the newly launched KRAVE Bar, which comes in four unique flavors that combine protein with quinoa and dried fruit: Chipotle Cherry Beef, Cranberry Thyme Turkey, Mango Jalapeño Pork and Wild Blueberry Beef. To round out the list of offerings at Winter Fancy Food, attendees will also have the opportunity to sample the soon-to-be-launched KRAVE Stick that was created in collaboration with the Culinary Institute of America’s consulting group in Napa Valley. The three resulting stick flavors combine turkey, pork or beef with either whole beans or sweet potatoes to produce a unique protein snack.
“Our consumers’ tastes are constantly evolving, but their desire for products that are both delicious and good for them have not,” said Rusti Porter, KRAVE’s Head of Marketing. “We always look forward to the Fancy Food events and are excited to showcase our latest creations with attendees.”
KRAVE will also be exhibiting its flagship line of jerky, which started putting an artisanal twist on the jerky space in 2009 with its tender texture and mouthwatering spice combinations that expanded to include Black Cherry Barbeque Pork, Chili Lime Beef, Lemon Garlic Turkey, Sweet Chipotle Beef and Grilled Sweet Teriyaki Pork to list a few.
The Winter Fancy Food Show takes place from January 22-24 at the Moscone Center located at 747 Howard Street, San Francisco, CA 94103. For more information on the trade show, please visit www.specialtyfood.com. For more information on KRAVE, please visit www.kravejerky.com.
