Barsmith™ Becomes First Verified Non-GMO Cocktail Mix Brand

Barsmith, a leading provider of craft quality bar essentials and mixers is proud to announce that it has become the first cocktail mix brand to be verified by the Non-GMO Project as free of genetically modified ingredients.

The Non-GMO Project is a non-profit organization that believes in offering consumers an informed choice about genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in foods, and is committed to building the non-GMO food supply, educating consumers, and identifying verified non-GMO options.

Barsmith items which have achieved Non-GMO Verification are: Barsmith Honey Ginger, Barsmith Lime Juice and Barsmith Simple Syrup. All other Barsmith flavors are nearing completion of the highly rigorous verification process and are expected to be Non-GMO Verified in 2016. All Barsmith products are made in the United States using only natural, Non-GMO ingredients.

Professional bartenders and at home consumers are increasingly looking for cocktail ingredients that match the quality of the spirits they are being mixed with.
